MOON RIBAS i QUIM GIRÓN
The collaboration between Moon Ribas and Quim Girón began in 2019 with the motivation to blend performing arts with cybernetics, aiming to bring the audience a physical experience apart from the auditory and visual aspects. Thanks to these technological devices, their works are both participatory and connected to reality, allowing other living elements beyond our control to intervene in the dramaturgy of their works.Their motivation is to open the audience's awareness, encouraging them to observe the surrounding environment and make room to emerge new languages within circus and dance.
This common territory has led them to create different projects such as Phenomenon, premiered at the Grec Festival 2021 in Barcelona, Pregnancy Sense in 2022, Symphonic flock premiered at festival Sismògraf Olot in 2023, Underland a European project by Stronger Peripheries premiered in Mataró with Xarxa Transversal and in Sardinia with Sardegnateatro in 2023.
